Andover's Yellow Cow

Posted by Andover Staff on

We know it’s spring here in Andover when “Miss Moosachusetts”moo-ves back into her seasonal ‘cement pasture’.  The bright yellow, life-sized cow is an installation set in the public gathering space behind the Old Town Hall.   Initially installed in May of 2024, the charming cow spends her winters in shelter and returns outdoors early spring.  The bovine beauty weighs in at 400 pounds and stands 8-feet tall.  Her bright yellow hide, features scenes within the Andover and Massachusetts painted lettering representing 14 counties and nine different scenes from throughout Andover.  All 351 cities/towns are stenciled throughout her colorful body.   Andover Collection features souvenirs of the proud cow in postcards and decals.  More moo-chandise is scheduled for the summer.  Stay tuned!
